Intel Company Muck Rack Media Series A Fund

September 30, 2022

In the United States, media intelligence and analytics provider Muck Rack has raised $180 million in a Series A funding round, which it will use for continued business growth and to improve its offerings.

Muck Rack was founded in 2009 by Gregory Galant and Lee Semel, to help PR teams collaborate and connect with journalists and content creators to generate media coverage. Organizations also use the company’s public relations platform (PRP) to monitor, measure and report on coverage to show the impact of public relations on business results and brand reputation. Plus, journalists use Muck Rack’s free tools to showcase their portfolios, analyze news on any topic, and measure the impact of their stories.

The new funding comes from Susquehanna Growth Equity (SGE), whose managing directors Josh Elser and Scott Fledman will join Muck Rack’s board. Galant, CEO of Muck Rack, commented, “This investment is an indicator of the strength of our business and the bright future of Muck Rack as we move toward our mission of enabling organizations to build trust, tell their stories and demonstrate the unique value of earned media. ‘.
