Professional Development Advocate Michele Badie Hosts Mental Health Awareness for Central Florida Professionals

Certified Mental Health Counselor Natasha D’Arcangelo would be the guest speaker at this in-person workshop, which aims to help professionals in a variety of fields improve their mental health and boost their careers.

Michèle Badie, professional development advocate, author and creator is pleased to announce the date of her mental health awareness event for professionals. The workshop, Color to Connect supports Michele’s mission to see professionals become more aware of their mental health and the things that affect it, understand how to improve their mental health, and become more productive and successful in their career journey. It will take place on August 13 at 3086 Costa Club Drive, Ocoee, FL 34761, and licensed mental health counselor Natasha D’Arcangelo will be the guest speaker.

“I actively redefined what self-care means to me and found my way back to connecting to one of the joys of my childhood, coloring,” explained Michèle Badie. “In 2022, in honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, I created the Keep Your Stride adult coloring book of career-focused affirmations that you can color in and spark your creativity and simple joy. that coloring can bring to your day. I also created the Color To Connect Workshops for professionals to color, network, and receive mental health counseling from a licensed mental health counselor in a serene environment. Since the publication of the coloring book, many have shared with me how taking the time to color has helped them decompress from their workday and the stresses of everyday life.

At the Color to Connect event, guest mental health advisor Natasha D’Arcangelo will share tips for removing and overcoming mental health stigma. Participants will learn how they can manage stress, anxiety and their work/life relationship to maintain stable mental health. In addition to the information that Natasha will provide, attendees will participate in coloring activities using Michele’s “Keep Your Stride” adult coloring book. This will not only help participants connect to their creative side, as Michele believes coloring promotes relaxation.

“I want to help professionals find creative options that support their efforts to be consistent with maintaining their mental health on an ongoing basis,” commented Michèle Badie.

The Color to Connect in-person workshop for professionals aims to be the game changer for professionals. It is open to anyone who wants to creatively increase and improve their mental health.
