Shout adds weight as new media channels come online
Shout Media has added two key members to its growing sales team. Jay Drew has joined as Mediacom’s Senior Account Manager. While Olivia Innes joins the TVNZ team and will assist Director of Sales Jen Sergel.
Drew did a short internship at Shout five years ago before gaining valuable agency experience elsewhere. In a statement, Shout notes that he is well positioned to develop and implement the media company’s sales strategy.
When recruiting for Drew, another outstanding candidate, Innes made it clear to Sergel that a new position needed to be created for her.
“Olivia’s skill set covers all aspects of sales and marketing, and we’re really excited that she has joined the team,” says Sergel.
This month (COVID permitting), Shout will also launch two innovative new digital networks, Study in Universities and NoticeBoard in Secondary Schools. Shout purchased the existing Oh! Media Study network in July and NoticeBoards is a collaboration with Wellington-based Obvious Brand Partners.
Paul Kenny is excited about the new channels and says, “Study and NoticeBoard fit perfectly into the Shout portfolio, integrating alongside and complementing our existing youth-focused platforms. They also expand our digital footprint, which is an important part of our future direction. “
Study in Universities is launched in September with 16 higher education campuses nationwide and NoticeBoard in 20 high schools.
