The Kohima Sümi Totimi Hoho (KSTH) and Dr. K&T Keditsu Foundation held the WH.O.LE Health Awareness Camp at the premises of Mount Olive College, Kohima on July 23.

The WH.O.LE (Women’s Health, Oncology, Lifestyle Endeavour) project is an initiative of the Dr. K&T Keditsu Foundation. This camp was organized in partnership with Putuonuo Nursing Home, Kohima and Max-Care Diagnostic Center, Kohima.

The resource person, Dr Thejavinuo K Keditsu, Consultant, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Putuonuo Nursing Home, Kohima. She talked about “common gynecological problems and menopause”. Dr. Keduovinuo Keditsu, Surgical Oncology Consultant, Putuonuo Nursing Home, Kohima, spoke on “Cancers in Women”. Dr. Keneilhoulie Medom, Consultant Anesthesiologist, KOHIMAS Hospital, Kohima, spoke on “Lifestyle Modification and Awareness of Diabetes and Hypertension,” while Themmungla Raman Longkumer, Clinical Psychologist, The Cloud Room, Kohima, spoke of “Understanding mental health“.

The official program was chaired by KSTH Vice President, Kavitoli Jakhalu, while the welcome speech was delivered by KSTH President, Piholi Swunetho. A vote of thanks was offered by KSTH Councilor Ghovili Achumi.

The program was followed by a health check and cancer screening.
