YGAM appoints new CEO

The Young Gamers and Gamblers Education Trust (YGAM) has announced the appointment of Dr Jane Rigbye as the new CEO.

Dr Rigbye, Chartered Psychologist and Fellow of the Royal Society of Public Health, brings a wealth of experience to this post after fifteen years of working in this professional field. This includes nine years of working in several leadership roles at GambleAware, including his most recent role as Director of Prevention.

Dr Rigbye previously worked at the NHS and contributed to research on many aspects of public health in play and play, including work on educational resources and effective interventions. Along with paid roles, Dr Rigbye has also held volunteer roles, including as a trustee of a children’s mental health charity overseeing communications and fundraising, and currently as director of school with the primary responsibility for protection.

This appointment marks the start of an exciting new chapter for YGAM as it develops the next strategy that will guide the education charity for years to come.

Helen Martin will retain her new role as COO after taking on additional responsibilities during the recruitment process. Dr. Rigbye will officially begin his new role on Monday, January 17th.
